Accessibility statement

Our commitment, what we have done, and how to tell us when we fall short. Last updated 1 January 2026.

Conformance target

This website is built to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.2 at Level AA. We treat accessibility as an architectural requirement rather than a remediation task, on this site and inside our games.

Measures taken

  • Semantic HTML landmarks throughout, with a single h1 per page and a heading order that never skips a level.
  • A skip link as the first focusable element on every page, and a visible focus indicator on every interactive control.
  • Text and interface colours tested against a 4.5:1 contrast ratio for body copy and 3:1 for large text and non-text indicators.
  • The mobile navigation implements the modal dialog pattern: focus is trapped while open, Escape dismisses it, and focus returns to the control that opened it.
  • All motion, including smooth scrolling, scroll-driven effects and background video, respects prefers-reduced-motion; background loops are replaced by still images.
  • Form controls have persistent visible labels, programmatic error associations and live-region status announcements.
  • Decorative graphics are hidden from assistive technology; meaningful ones carry text alternatives.

Known limitations

We are not aware of any outstanding Level AA failures. If your testing finds one, we would genuinely like to hear about it. That feedback is more useful to us than an audit certificate.

Feedback

Email evolve@kykuyo.com with the page address, the barrier you encountered and the assistive technology you were using. We aim to acknowledge within two business days and to resolve confirmed Level AA issues within ten.

Assessment approach

This statement is based on a self-assessment combining automated testing, manual keyboard-only walkthroughs and screen reader verification with VoiceOver and NVDA.
